Progresso introduces Lemon Pepper Panko
MINNEAPOLIS Progresso is introducing a product that can give any dish effortless flavor.
The newest addition to the Progresso line of panko breadcrumbs now includes Lemon Pepper Panko, which adds crispiness and flavor to any meal without the fuss.
Progresso’s line of panko breadcrumbs are available at grocery stores nationwide for $2.49 per 8-oz.package.
Stonyfield Farm gets plant-based packaging for yogurt products
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. Clear Lam Packaging has developed a new plastic derived from plants to be used as packaging for products from Stonyfield Farm.
Stonyfield Farm’s yogurt multipacks now feature the new packaging, which uses 93% renewable resources, primarily plant-based Ingeo PLA (polylactic acid), Clear Lam Packaging said. The new packaging is being used for every Stonyfield Farm multipack yogurt cup, including YoBaby, YoToddler and YoKids, as well as BHealthy, B-Well, Probiotic and O’Soy.
“Stonyfield Farm has invested significantly in finding innovative new packaging alternatives that reduce our dependency on oil and other finite resources, and we’re thrilled that Clear Lam was able to offer an industry-leading packaging solution to help support their sustainable packaging initiatives,” said James Sanfilippo, president and CEO of Clear Lam Packaging.
