Odwalla adds two flavors to bars line

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. Odwalla is expanding its bars line with two new flavors.

Odwalla’s new chocolate peanut butter protein bar features 12 g of protein and contains calcium and vitamins E, B6 and B12, all delivered in a chocolate peanut butter decadence. The blueberry swirl superfood bar from Odwalla contains calcium, folate and vitamins A, C and E, and features the swirling flavor of blueberries with a bonanza of nutritious organic oats, dates and crisp rice, the company said.

 

Both bars hit store shelves this month and are available in natural food stores, select supermarkets and specialty outlets nationwide with a suggested retail price of $1.39, along with such other Odwalla bars as Mocha-walla, banana nut and berries GoMega.

Sargento introduces new fridge packs

PLYMOUTH, Wis. Healthy snacking is simple with Sargento fridge packs, the cheese brand’s newest product.

Sargento fridge packs are stand-up packs of individually wrapped cheese snacks, making them visible, organized and easily accessible in the fridge.

 

Sargento fridge packs contain the same never-processed natural cheese found in all Sargento products and are available in three popular varieties: string cheese, light string cheese and colby jack cheese. They can be found in the refrigerated cheese section of major grocery retailers in the Southeast for a suggested retail price of $6.99 for 18 snacks.

New Matador beef jerky is flamin’ hot

MINONG, Wis. Jack Link’s Matador brand is amplifying its meat snack lineup with a flamin’ hot variety.

New Matador flamin’ hot stick combines Matador’s original beef jerky with a hot and spicy kick, the company said. Within one year, the Matador brand has introduced three stick flavors and four jerky flavors.

The new Matador flamin’ hot stick is available in a 1-oz. package for $1.29.
