Unique packaging wins E.T. Browne’s FlipBalm ECRM Best Product Award
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – E.T. Browne Drug was named this year’s Drug Store News/ECRM Best Product Award in the cough/cold category for its FlipBalm lip care line at ECRM’s Cough/Cold, Analgesics & Allergy EPPS event, held February 15-19 here.
E.T. Browne won for its Flip Balm line of lip care products, which is packaged in a stylish container that users can flip open with one hand. It comes in three flavors: juicy watermelon, ripe mango and creamy coconut.
“One of the trends we’ve seen at ECRM’s show is innovative packaging and delivery mechanisms,” stated Paul Jarrett, CEO Bulu Box, a subscription box and e-commerce retailer of wellness products, who attended the event as a buyer. “The FlipBalm product is a great example of this. It’s really great packaging, it’s functional and it looks fantastic.”
Crane USA was the finalist for its Crane Travel Humidifier. Crane USA designs innovative – and fun – cool mist humidifiers, air purifiers and space heaters following its mantra of “design for better living.” The company was recognized for its Crane Travel Humidifier, which enables consumers to easily take their humidifier on the road. It can be used with its prepackaged cup – or any large cup – and can be powered via a plug adapter or USB port.
With buyers casting votes on product innovation and packaging, the two products were selected from more than 20 entries in the award program.
E.T. Browne is one of the longest standing proprietors of skin and hair care products in the United States, feauturing brands including the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula and Skin Success, Shea Butter Formula, Olive Butter Formula, Coconut Oil Formula, Olive Oil Formula and Hair Success brands.
This is the second DSN/ECRM New Product Award win for E.T. Browne. The company was a finalist at ECRM’s Sun Care event for its Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Eventone Suncare SPF 30 Sunscreen Lotion.
MusclePharm hires 30-year vet to improve supply chain
DENVER, – MusclePharm on Thursday announced the appointment of Jon Heussner as its VP operations.
Heussner has a proven track record as a seasoned supply chain executive, with experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations. He brings more than 30 years of food manufacturing knowledge, focusing on operations management, engineering, contract manufacturing, new product commercialization and project management.
