Too Faced Cosmetics launches Smurfette products
IRVINE, Calif. Attention Smurf fans: Too Faced Cosmetics has developed, through a license agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Lafig Belgium s.a., a limited-edition collection of Smurfette cosmetics.
The five-piece collection, debuting at Sephora U.S. stores in January, will bear the iconic Smurfette imagery. The collection is positioned to attract both the Smurfette and Too Faced loyal fan bases, as well as new shoppers.
- Smurfette Mood Swing Lip Gloss ($18.50): A mood-activated lip gloss that starts off Smurfy blue and then transforms into countless shades of Smurf-berry depending on the wearer’s emotional state.
- So Smurfy Illuminating Face Powder ($26): Created in the image of Smurfette, this multi-shade palette brightens and tones with a combination of soft, color-correcting shades that blend together for wear on any skin tone.
- So Smurfy Eye Shadow ($32.50): A chic palette that includes four complimentary eye shadow shades—two of which are debossed with the Smurf daisy and Smurfette’s silhouette.
- Smurfy Eyed Liquid Liner ($17.50): Two liquid eyeliners in Smurf-inspired blue and white shades formulated with sparkling, micro-glitter for added impact.
Kiss My Face introduces new products
NEW YORK Kiss My Face has introduced a new look for its Potent & Pure Organic Face Care and two new products.
The Kiss My Face Potent & Pure organic skin-care system combines the latest skin-care research with botanicals, vitamins, extracts and minerals. The line can be tailored to meet the needs of all skin types, including aging and acne-prone skin.
The system includes products to cleanse, treat and moisturize skin. The packaging is comprised of 65 percent post-consumer corrugate and produced in a facility that utilizes wind power and water-soluble ink.
New to the collection is a Brightening Day Creme that is 74 percent organic. It combines alpha arbutin to lighten existing dark spots and algae extract for overall skin brightening. Titanium and zinc provide SPF 4.
There’s also the new Intensive Repair Night Creme that is 83 percent organic. The treatment features an herbal infusion of organic soothing hibiscus, circulation stimulating basil and antioxidant and detoxifier fennel.
The new products will be available at retail in January.
Genomma Lab relaunches Ma Evans
MEXICO CITY Mexican OTC and personal-care company Genomma Lab has relaunched the personal hair-care product line Ma Evans, which it acquired during the fourth quarter of 2007.
The product launch contains five SKUs in the anti-hair loss shampoo, anti-hair loss treatment and hair gel categories.
According to Genomma Lab, it acquired the Ma Evans brand due to its high level of brand recognition in the shampoo and anti-hair loss treatment categories. With this launch, Genomma Lab reinforces its presence in the hair-care category, in which it currently participates under the anti-dandruff shampoo brand Medicasp.
The product launch was realized through a mass media campaign under the brand name “Ma Evans Evolution.”
