TAG partners with Island Def Jam on new hip-hop label
NEW YORK Procter & Gamble’s TAG brand has partnered with Island Def Jam Music Group to form a new hip-hop record label, TAG Records as part of TAG brand’s initiative to cultivate relationships with the urban community.
Hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri will lead the new label, acting as president of the New York-based venture. Dupri will set the creative vision for the label and will play an integral part in identifying and developing musical talent.
The first artist will be officially announced in May. In addition to an album release, the TAG brand will showcase TAG Record’s artist and Dupri across various TAG brand advertising and marketing initiatives throughout 2008.

Max Factor launches mineral-infused makeup, Lipfinity lip color
New York MAX Factor is gearing up for summer with the launch of mineral-infused liquid makeup and bronzer, as well as its new Lipfinity 3-D lip color. All of the products will be available in July.
The new MAX Factor ColorGenius Foundation with Minerals is a mineral-infused liquid foundation with light reflecting pigments. Models sported the new foundation on the runways of New YorkOs Fall/Winter 2008 Fashion Week with the help of Procter & Gamble’s global creative design director Pat McGrath. The foundation is available in 12 shades and has an average retail price of $9.99.
To give skin a sun-kissed glow, there’s the new MAX Factor ColorGenius Mineral Bronzer, which is a mineral-infused loose bronzing powder. It is available in two shades-Sunset and Sun Kissed-and has an average retail price of $8.49.
For lip color that lasts, there’s the new MAX Factor Lipfinity 3-D. The double-ended lip color and gloss duo offers long-wearing color. The long-wearing lowlight layer provides depth of color, while the highlighting gloss top coat adds moisturizing shimmer and shine. Lipfinity 3-D is available in 26 shade combinations and has an average retail price of $8.84.
Lierac Paris expands in the U.S. at Northeast CVS locations
