Stonyfield announces new additions

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Stonyfield, an organic yogurt brand, on Tuesday announced two new additions to its line of Greek yogurts: Black Cherry and Cafe Latte. 

"Greek yogurt makes an excellent snack with its high protein content and moderate calorie count, and Stonyfield Greek offers the healthiest option available by using only the best, organic ingredients and never any GMOs," Heather Bauer, RD, founder of Bestowed and nutrition author, said. "Mindful snacking between meals is ideal to keep energy levels high and maintain satiety. That’s why I always stock my fridge with Stonyfield Greek yogurt — it’s perfect plain or mixed with nutritious toppings like organic berries, nuts or a drizzle of honey."

Stonyfield Greek comes in two sizes — 5.3-oz single cups and 4-oz 4-packs. In addition to the new flavors, Stonyfield also offers vanilla, blueberry, plain, super fruits, strawberry, chocolate, peach mango, pineapple, raspberry, honey, lemon and caramel. Consumers can purchase Stonyfield yogurt at grocery stores nationwide.

Dunkin’ Donuts, WhiteWave Foods bring new creamers to grocery stores

CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin’ Donuts and WhiteWave Foods on Tuesday announced an agreement to bring Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Creamers to grocery stores and club stores nationwide.

WhiteWave Foods, a consumer packaged food and beverage company, will develop, manufacture and distribute the creamers which are sold in 32-oz, quart-sized bottles and come in four varieties: Original, Fat-Free, Extra Extra and Unsweetened.  

"As America’s leading retailer of coffee-by-the-cup, finding new and innovative ways to reinforce our coffee leadership is a priority for our brand and our franchisees. Consumers have told us they love the idea of Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Creamers at their grocery store, and we feel this launch will strengthen our brand’s association with hot coffee, increase our visibility at grocery stores around the country, and ultimately drive more hot coffee sales when consumers visit our restaurants," John Costello, Dunkin’ Brands’ President, Global Marketing and Innovation, said.

Quaker Oats serves up new offerings

CHICAGO — Quaker Oats, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, is adding some innovative, energy-packed products to its lineup, the company said.

The latest offerings from the Quaker brand include:

 

  • Quaker Warm and Crunch Granola: A hot cereal that combines Quaker Oatmeal with multigrain granola;
  • Quaker Real Medleys Ready-to-Eat Cereal: The newest addition to the Real Medleys portfolio features a combination of multigrains, fruit and nuts; and
  • Instant Quaker Oatmeal Cups in new flavors: Consumers can now enjoy Apple & Cranberries and Honey & Almonds, which pack  5 g of fiber.
