SteelMclean elevates styling, intros pomade

SteelMclean, a line focused on creating light and luxurious unisex hair and skin care products, has launched a new innovation when it comes to styling hair. The brand’s new Pomade La Mode is a hybrid of shine and moisture designed to condition and control while providing luster.

Infused with 12 super fruits and herbal extracts that include bilberry to protect hair from harmful effects of free radicals; goji extract to reduce breakage and promote growth; chokeberry extract that also promotes hair growth; golden seal root extract to improve hair health and minimize dandruff; and matricaria flower extract, which provides moisture and reduces scalp irritation. The product also protects hair while adding shine and a light, clear hold.

Pomade La Mode is ideal for spiky, curly and wavy styles, and also can be used to control frizz. The pomade also is created without parabens, sulfates, alcohol, and is cruelty-free.

To use the pomade, SteelMclean recommends placing a small amount into the palm of the hands then rubbing together and applying directly to hair — styling as desired.

The Pomade La Mode is currently available for purchase on SteelMclean’s website for $27.

Latest Convenience Kits launch makes whitening portable

Convenience Kits has added travel-sized essentials kits to its lineup. The new Oral Care 5 Piece Teeth Whitening Kit is designed to make keeping teeth shiny easier when on the go.

The new kit features one Crest 3D White 1 Hour Express whitening strip, as well as Crest #D White 12-hour stain protecting toothpaste. CoverGirl’s melting pout lip glosses go holographic

On the heels of launching its Melting Pout Lip Metallics line, CoverGirl has unveiled a new holographic addition to its beauty portfolio — the Melting Pout Holographic Lip Gloss. The magical and ultra-glam line is an Ulta Beauty exclusive that can currently be purchased on the retailer’s website and will be hitting its shelves on April 15.

CoverGirl’s new limited-edition collection comes in eight shades — Bang Bang, Debauchery, Kindle, Diversion, Passion Fruit, Revelry, Unicorn Moment and Tingles — that can either be worn on their own or on top of another lip shade for an added pop of color.

Each gloss contains a non-sticky, weightless feel that also moisturizes and conditions lips through hours of wear, the company said.

In addition to adding some major shine to its line, CoverGirl also is partnering with social media influencer Jazmina Daniel on lip art that will showcase each of the shades.

Each Melting Pout Holographic Lip Gloss currently retails for the suggested price of $7.99. Further information can be found on the company’s website and social media channels.
