Smart for Life improves diet cookie

BOCA RATON, Fla. Smart for Life recently improved its meal replacement cookie.

Smart for Life’s weight-management chocolate chip cookie now features more protein — a total of 6-g per serving.  In addition, Smart for Life has incorporated HeroFiber, its proprietary super fiber, that includes ForteFiber soluble dietary fiber which helps to maintain cholesterol, glucose and insulin levels that are already in the normal range.

MillerCoors opens craft-, import-beer-focused biz

CHICAGO MillerCoors has developed a company that focuses on craft and import beers.

Tenth and Blake Beer Company is an independent yet connected company that will own the strategic business drivers –– marketing, trade marketing and an independent sales organization dedicated to the craft and imports business. The company will in-source other capabilities from MillerCoors, including legal, communications, HR, marketing services and consumer insights.

‘Buon appetito!’ Heartland introduces gluten-free pasta

Heartland Pasta offers gluten-free dieters the color, texture and flavor of traditional pasta with its yellow corn/white rice blend that also is egg- and dairy-free. Heartland’s pasta is available in spaghetti, penne and fusilli shapes and retails for $1.99 to $2.69.

Heartland gluten-free pasta now is available at Walmart.
