R.W. Knudsen Family brings Nature’s Peak to shelves

CHICO, Calif. — R.W. Knudsen Family on Wednesday announced the debut of Nature’s Peak, a line of juice blends.

Each 8-oz. cup of juice provides a half-cup serving of fruits and a half-cup serving of vegetables, the company said. Consumers can choose from Berry Veggie Blend, Orchard Veggie Blend and Tropical Veggie Blend.

The brand is inviting consumers to explore the benefits of fruit by visiting "The Orchard," an interactive destination featured on the brand’s website that engages users with facts about fruit.

Trailblazer Foods brings Pacific Northwest products to Albertsons

PORTLAND — Trailblazer Food Products, a manufacturer of private-label and branded grocery products in the western United States, has announced that it is partnering with grocer Albertsons to stock regional products including Walls Berry Farm Preserves and Nalley’s Lumberjack Syrup.

"Albertsons is always looking for quality products to share with our customers," added Dennis Schwarz, VP marketing and merchandising for Albertsons. "Walls Berry Farm Preserves and Nalley’s Lumberjack Syrup are well-loved brands for a reason: rich flavor that speaks to their Northwest roots. We’re excited to introduce these top-quality, local products to our Northwest customers."

The Trailblazer Foods brands are currently on Albertsons store shelves in Oregon and Washington.

Walls Berry Farm Preserves’ original recipes date back to 1850, when the Walls family moved to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Albertsons now carries the marionberry, strawberry, red raspberry and four berry varieties.

The Nalley’s Lumberjack Table Syrups available at Albertsons include original- and butter-flavored.

Stonyfield announces new additions

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Stonyfield, an organic yogurt brand, on Tuesday announced two new additions to its line of Greek yogurts: Black Cherry and Cafe Latte. 

"Greek yogurt makes an excellent snack with its high protein content and moderate calorie count, and Stonyfield Greek offers the healthiest option available by using only the best, organic ingredients and never any GMOs," Heather Bauer, RD, founder of Bestowed and nutrition author, said. "Mindful snacking between meals is ideal to keep energy levels high and maintain satiety. That’s why I always stock my fridge with Stonyfield Greek yogurt — it’s perfect plain or mixed with nutritious toppings like organic berries, nuts or a drizzle of honey."

Stonyfield Greek comes in two sizes — 5.3-oz single cups and 4-oz 4-packs.
