Real Techniques asks fans to name limited-edition brush set

BY Gina Acosta

GURNEE, Ill. — Real Techniques is empowering its million-plus social media fan base to determine the final design for the brand's 2016 limited-edition brush set.

Real Techniques fans will be able to select from five designs inspired by Sam and Nic Chapman's favorite fashion cities: Buenos Aires, Berlin, London, Shanghai and Sydney. Online voting is open through April 14.  Curated with the fans in mind, the limited edition Your Picks brush set will feature Real Techniques' five bestselling makeup brushes.

"This limited edition set is our way of saying thank you to our fans for their loyalty, unwavering support and enthusiasm over the past five years. We're able to celebrate this milestone because of our fans, so we wanted them to collaborate with us on this very special limited edition set," said Sam Chapman.

After casting a vote, fans are encouraged to share their pick with friends and followers on Twitter and Instagram tagging @RealTechniques and the hashtag corresponding to their favorite design:

  • #YourPicksSydney
  • #YourPicksBerlin
  • #YourPicksShanghai
  • #YourPicksBuenosAires
  • #YourPicksLondon

The winning design will be announced on Real Techniques' social media channels in the fall, and the brush set (SRP $29.99) will be available for a limited time at realtechniques.com and at select retailers nationwide just in time for the holiday season:

Capri Sun launches organic juice drink for kids

BY Gina Acosta

CHICAGO — Capri Sun is expanding its product line with the brand’s first-ever organic offering.

The new certified USDA Capri Sun Organic drink contains one serving of fruit in every pouch and is made with 66% fruit juice and no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Capri Sun Organic also contains 100% daily value of Vitamin C that kids need in their daily diets, and no added sugar.

“Our consumers are at the center of everything we do and we know that while kids simply want things that taste good, parents want to feel good about what they’re serving,” said Dennis Wu, director, Refreshment Beverages, The Kraft Heinz Company. “Capri Sun Organic strikes the perfect balance between these two needs, offering the same great taste as original Capri Sun, but with the organic ingredients we know are important to moms and dads.”

Capri Sun Organic, available in Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, Apple, and Grape, can be found in the juice aisle at retail stores nationwide.
