Puristics Totally Ageless line arriving at select Walgreens
PEAPACK, N.J. — Consumer products company Scerene Healthcare is bringing its Puristics Totally Ageless skin care line to Walgreens on a regional basis in April.
The collection is available in select markets at select retail locations, including Rite Aid, King Soopers and Harris Teeter. Beginning in April, the line also will be available in Walgreens in the Milwaukee, Madison, Wis., and Denver regions.
The Puristics Totally Ageless line includes a night recovery cream, SPF 15 daily anti-aging lotion, advanced skin-rejuvenating lotion, revitalizing eye cream and intensive eye treatment.
The formulas feature the company’s exclusive Puristics peptide complex, which has been certified by EcoCert, the European organic-certification agency, the company stated. The products are free of parabens, phthalates and sulfates.
New dry shampoo caters to consumers with wavy, curly hair
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Freeman Beauty has launched for 2011 its new Pssssst instant dry shampoo for wavy or curly hair.
The new transparent version of the dry shampoo is specifically formulated for wavy or curly hair. It is designed to reduce frizz and does not need to be brushed out, so curls or waves are left intact. In addition to cleaning and deodorizing hair, the formula promises to instantly boost volume and movement.
The new Pssssst instant dry shampoo for wavy or curly hair has a suggested retail price of $6.99.
They call it ‘puppy love’ … for girls
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — Caroline Sunshine, who plays "Tinka" in the new Disney show "Shake it Up," recently came out to the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, Calif., to sign bottles of her new signature fragrance for tweens and teens, "Puppy Love 4 girlz," from Puppy Love Fragrances.
The Feb. 13 event attracted hundreds of fans who lined up at the Kids 4 Real clothing store to get their bottles signed and have their pictures taken with the Disney star.
Kristy Aaron, creator of the fragrance, has been in the fragrance industry for more than 20 years working for such companies as Sanofi Beaute (Oscar de la Renta), Yves saint Laurent, Gucci and L’Oréal. According to the company, Aaron is open to all potential retail partner opportunities.
The fragrance is a fresh, clean and "real" first fragrance for tweens and teens, the company stated. It is a sparkling citrus, with a splash of pomegranate, grapefruit, tangerine and lemon, a hint of lavender and a trace of green tea. To help homeless animals, $5 from every $35 bottle goes to animal charities.
