Pixi by Petra creates fall collection for Target

NEW YORK — U.K. beauty brand Pixi by Petra announced on Thursday that it will its fall collection at stateside Targets.

The collection includes the Glow Tonic exfoliating toner, Endless Brow Gel Pens and new Mattelustre Lipsticks. One of the brand’s best-selling products, Glow Tonic contains aloe vera, ginseng and botanical extracts hazel, in addition to glycolic acid to minimize pores and accelerate cell renewal. 

“The skin-loving formulas prep skin for the harsher winter months that can take a major toll,” Petra Strand, the line’s creator, said. Strand creates all of her products in her Santa Barbara studio.

The brow gel pens fill in sparse areas, while the Mattelustre Lipsticks condition and plump lips. They are available in 11 shades, including reds, berries, nudes and pinks, while the line’s eye makeup will feature rich blues and purples.

Tria Beauty names 2 new execs

DUBLIN, Calif. — Skincare product company Tria Beauty on Thursday announced Michaela Griggs as general manager of the North America division and VP of global marketing, and James Faulkner as general manager of the Europe & Middle East Regions division. 

Griggs previously served as VP of global strategic marketing for medical aesthetics at Allergan. She also served as global head of marketing and business development at 3M Unitek. Before 3M, Griggs held senior management roles at Bayer HealthCare.

Faulkner previously held senior management positions in the EMEA region of consumer beauty and device companies, such as HoMedics and Newell Rubbermaid. He also has experience building consumer brands in multiple categories, growing wholesale channels of distribution and overall general management across the globe.
