Finnish skin care co. launching repairing cream, serum

BY Antoinette Alexander

NEW YORK Lumene, a beauty brand from Finland, is launching in July its new ExCELLent Future Deep Repairing Cream and ExCELLent Future Deep Repairing Serum.

The products utilize natural stem technology to treat, prevent and delay damage caused by aging and environmental factors. The skin care products feature a formulation called Applexcell, which is a combination of apple stem cell extract and Arctic white peat. Modern apple stem cell extract promises to maintain the skin’s stem cells’ ability to repair damage and works to delay and prevent the signs of aging. Ancient Arctic white peat contains plant sterols that improve the moisture balance of skin and provides skin cells with an optimal environment for maintaining vitality.

The serum is to be applied to the face, neck and eye-contour area before ExCELLent Future Deep Repairing Cream. Both products have a suggested retail price of $29.99 each. They will be available beginning in July at CVS stores, CVS.com and Target.com.
