Olivina Men targets grooming needs with multi-use wash

Olivina Men, a men’s grooming brand which formulates products sourced from healthful, natural ingredients has an expansive line of offerings. The Nashville-based company has an array of products including an all-in-one body wash, which can be used to refresh the face, body and hair.

The cleanser, which is certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, removes dirt and grime without leaving the surface used upon dry or oily, the company said. Scents of red cedar and smoky vanilla also accompany the multi-use product, which comes in a 2.5-oz. size.

YouCam Makeup, Maybelline bring runway beauty to AR experience

Fashion week fans can now try on runway beauty looks, thanks to YouCam Makeup and Maybelline New York’s latest collaboration. Through the Perfect-owned company’s app, beauty enthusiasts can access the creations by checking out the Maybelline Fashion Week series, which also will spotlight the new Total Temptation collection from the New York City-based beauty brand.

“As the official New York Fashion Week cosmetics sponsor for nearly a decade, with over 10 shows this season, Maybelline New York was the perfect partner to collaborate with and launch this unique digital runway experience through YouCam’s AR and AI capabilities,” Alice Chang, CEO of Perfect said.

Users can opt for ultra-glam catwalk looks with bold berry lips, dramatic smoky shadows, natural glow-y skin, matte nude lips, soft purple lips, and flared lashes. The fashion week trends can be experienced in real time with the app’s makeup trials, which are complete with Maybelline product pairings.

“Maybelline is excited to make our New York Fashion Week makeup looks easily accessible to women and provide them with the tools to make it their own thanks to YouCam’s innovative technology,” Laetitia Raoust, Maybelline New York chief digital officer, said. “This is a fun, new layer to the makeup experience for women who want to experiment more with their beauty looks.”

The experience will be available on YouCam Makeup beginning Feb. 9th. The app is currently available for download in the app store and Google Play.

Crest targets gum health, intros new toothpaste

Crest is looking to change the way consumers worry about their gum health, by launching the Crest Gum Detoxify. The product is specially formulated paste with activated foam technology that reaches below the gum line to significantly improve gum health, the Cincinnati-based company said.

The line, which falls under Procter & Gamble’s portfolio of products, neutralizes harmful plaque bacteria in order to prevent gingivitis, even below the gum line. The included activated foam seeks out bad bacteria by penetrating hard to reach places, cools gums during and after brushing and goes around and below the gun line for lasting protection, the company said.

“We know that gum problems and plaque build-up are a root cause of many issues, including bad breath, tartar buildup, cavities and gingivitis,” Carlos De Jesus, vice president North America Oral Care, Procter & Gamble said. “New Gum Detoxify helps users go beyond regular brushing by neutralizing harmful bacteria, and ensuring a clean and healthy mouth with lasting gum protection. With so much riding on your gum health, if you aren’t taking care of your gums, you’re not taking care of you!”

The Crest Gum Detoxify is available in deep clean, extra fresh, gentle whitening, and two-step [ varieties in drugstores, mass retailers and e-commerce sites. Further product information can be found on Crest’s website.
