New ice cream flavor celebrates Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews

PHILADELPHIA — Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews has teamed up with Little Baby’s Ice Cream to debut a new ice cream flavor.

"We at Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews are elated to be able to combine two Philadelphia favorites into one sweet treat," Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews marketing manager Bob Zender said.

Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews Vanilla Molasses will be rolled out at Little Baby’s Ice Cream’s headquarters in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood. Little Baby’s also operates several mobile units and seasonal ice cream stands in the city. For more information, visit Littlebabysicecream.com.

BeneCard PBF appoints EVP pharmacy services

ORLANDO, Fla. — BeneCard PBF announced that it has appointed a new EVP pharmacy services.

The prescription benefit facilitator said Bill Wolfe will be responsible for leading BeneCard PBF’s clinical, compliance, sales and business informatics groups. Prior to joining BeneCard PBF, Wolfe served as president of pharmacy benefit manager Catalyst Health Solutions, which merged with fellow PBM SXC Health Solutions in July. Prior to his tenure at Catalyst, Wolfe also worked at Rite Aid, last serving as SVP managed care and government affairs for the company.

"Bill has over 25 years of managed care and pharmacy benefit experience and is a recognized and highly regarded leader in the prescription benefits industry," BeneCard PBF chairman of the board Kenneth Ullman said. "He will help guide BeneCard PBF in moving forward as a change agent in the dynamic landscape of health care and we are excited to have Bill join our team."

Walgreens, Taylor Swift partner on in-store merchandising set in anticipation of new album ‘Red’

DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens on Monday announced the launch of the "Taylor Swift Store at Walgreens," which will market a wide array of products from the six-time Grammy winner’s branded merchandise line. Walgreens and select Duane Reade locations will provide a comprehensive, in-store selection of Taylor Swift music and merchandise.

The items will be available for purchase chain wide beginning the week of Oct. 8. The Taylor Swift-branded merchandise will incorporate artwork from her soon to be released album, "Red."

"Our relationship with Taylor provides customers with convenient access to her broad range of merchandise enabling them to show their support for her," stated Joe Magnacca, president of daily living products and solutions for Walgreens. "This unique offering is another way we are delivering on our mission to make health and happiness simpler, easier and within reach for everyone on a daily basis."

"I look forward to sharing my music and merchandise with my fans, and making it easier for them to pick up their favorite items when visiting Walgreens or Duane Reade stores," Swift said.
