Nesquik offers Girl Scouts-inspired treats

GLENDALE, Calif. — Nestlé Nesquik is partnering with the Girl Scouts of the USA to introduce the limited-edition Nesquik Girl Scouts Thin Mints and Nesquik Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut flavors, which are available now for $1.99. The beverages combine low-fat chocolate milk with two celebrated Girl Scout Cookie flavors to create a tasty on-the-go beverage, according to Nestlé.
 
To celebrate the launch, consumers are encouraged to participate in the Double Awesome Twitter contest for a change to win a trip for an adventure. The grand prize winner can choose a trip to one of four destinations, including airfare, accomodations and $500 in spending cash. 
 
To enter the contest, fan must share their "double awesome" moments by tweeting a photo of themselves enjoying one of the limited-edition beverages while doing their favorite activity — which can ragne from enjoying a sporting event, to hanging out in the park with friends. The entrant must follow @NestleNesquik on Twitter and share their photos using the hashtag #DblAwesomeContest.

Moroccanoil launches first-ever multimedia campaign

NEW YORK — Moroccanoil, a maker of oil-infused beauty products, has announced the launch of "Inspired By Women," the brand's first-ever multimedia advertising campaign created to inspire, celebrate and empower women around the world.

At the heart of the new platform is a digital short-film series “Inspired,” helmed by filmmaker Bryce Dallas Howard and Academy Award and Emmy-winning producers RadicalMedia. Joining Moroccanoil on this journey to celebrate the strength in every woman is "Inspired By Women" ambassador, British supermodel and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The series features the stories of five women driven to make a positive impact in the world, and also explores what it means to lead an inspired life as seen through the eyes of Huntington-Whiteley.

"With 'Inspired By Women,' we wanted to take our notion of beautiful transformations to the next level — by empowering women to discover beauty through inspiration," said Moroccanoil co-founder Carmen Tal. "Rosie is a timeless, global beauty who exudes confidence, inner strength and a down-to-earth quality that embodies the Moroccanoil aesthetic. We're delighted to have her join Moroccanoil on our journey to empower all women with self-confidence and a fearless drive to pursue their dreams.”

Huntington-Whiteley will begin appearing in Moroccanoil "Inspired By Women" print and digital advertisements for fashion, beauty and lifestyle publications this month. She also will be featured in the campaign's “Inspired” short-film series.

Walgreens’ chief medical officer Harry Leider will open 6th annual mHealth Summit

WASHINGTON — The mHealth Summit on Wednesday announced that Walgreens' chief medical officer Harry Leider will open the 6th annual Summit with a keynote address on Dec. 8.  
 
Walgreens is the lead sponsor of the new Consumer/Patient Engagement Pavilion at this year's mHealth Summit. The pavilion will focus on the application of wearables, sensors, trackers and other devices for aging independently, as well as personal health technologies that are being implemented within clinical practice or adopted by consumers for health self-management. 
 
Leider has more than 20 years of experience as a physician executive in a variety of innovative healthcare organizations. At Walgreens, he is responsible for ensuring enterprise-wide health and wellness service offerings and outcomes that provide customer value and improve patient lives. Walgreens has launched a number of mobile health (mHealth) programs to encourage healthy behaviors and engage individuals to better manage their wellness. 
 
"We are delighted Dr. Leider will be a featured keynote speaker at the mHealth Summit, representing one of the leading organizations committed to engaging consumers in health self-improvement, and enhancing customer experience, through personal connected health technologies," said Richard Scarfo, director, mHealth Summit, and VP Personal Connected Health Alliance.
