Murad launches new exfoliating mask
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Murad has announced the launch of its new Pomegranate Exfoliating Mask, which promises to instantly make skin smoother and more hydrated with once weekly applications.
The exfoliating mask is designed to address combination skin concerns, including oily and dry problem areas. Its ingredients include pomegranate and ginkgo biloba extracts to fight free radicals and inflammation. It also contains natural fruit enzymes and AHAs to help dissolve tired cells while freeing the skin?s surface of trapped impurities. Sodium PCA softens and conditions leaving skin moisturized and refreshed, the company stated.
Each treatment comes in a single-use packet and is sold in sets of six for $22.50 at the Murad Inclusive Health Spa, Murad.com, Sephora, Ulta, and select salon and spa locations. The packettes will also be included in the Matte Perfection Collection, a back-to-school kit designed to eliminate acne and prevent future breakouts.
Zion Health announces launch of Derma Xtreme
SAN FRANCISCO Zion Health has announced the launch of its new clay skin care cream called Derma Xtreme, which is designed to help reduce the appearance of redness related to rosacea, eczema and sunburns.

Maybelline New York to serve as cosmetic sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week
NEW YORK Maybelline New York, along with sports, entertainment and media company IMG, will serve as the official cosmetic sponsor of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City’s Bryant Park.
The two-year agreement, which begins at the upcoming spring collections in September, will carry through to the event’s planned move to Lincoln Center in September 2010.
Maybelline New York will support a selection of established and up-and-coming designers including Charlotte Ronson, Tracy Reese, Michael Angel and Erin Wasson x RVCA. Charlotte Willer, the brand’s global makeup artist, will lead the makeup teams.
