Merlot introduces antioxidant peel-off mask
EL PASO, Texas Merlot Skin Care, which makes skin care products infused with grape seed, has expanded its line with the new Purifying Peel Off Mask.
The all-natural facial mask combines grape seeds, an antioxidant, with lemon, grapefruit, orange peel and ginseng extracts. Vitamin E works with vitamin B5 to keep skin hydrated while removing dirt and unwanted particles.
“We’ve always known about the power of grape seed antioxidants to fight against aging. Our new mask also helps stressed skin repair itself, with the power of ginseng,” started Merlot creator Wayne Beckley.
The mask comes in a 6-ounce tube and is expected to retail for $15.99.
Gillette, GroomGroove.com hold contest for best proposal story
NEW YORK Procter & Gamble’s Gillette Clinical Strength antiperspirant has teamed up with engagement and wedding site for men, GroomGroove.com, to search for the best marriage proposal story.
The “She Said Yes” wedding proposal contest begins on Thursday and continues through April 21. Contest entries will be featured on GroomGroove.com and one winner will receive a year’s supply of new Gillette Clinical Strength antiperspirant and $1,000 in cash.
The new Gillette Clinical promises to provide 34 percent better wetness protection than a prescription product.
GroomGroove.com is an online engagement and wedding guide for men. The site features up to date information for grooms, the best man, groomsmen and the fathers of the bride and groom, including information on wedding tuxedos and diamond engagement rings. Groove Media LLC founded the site in 2007.
SDM to launch specialty beauty concept store
TORONTO Shoppers Drug Mart is launching a new beauty concept store that will offer, in addition to a full-service pharmacy, an extensive selection of skin care and dermatological products, prestige cosmetics and fragrances.
The first of these stores, whose name has yet to released, is expected to open in Ontario in July. The new concept is an extension of the company’s Beauty Boutique format first launched in 2003.
Serving as president of the new concept is Shelley Rozenwald. Rozenwald, who has brought more than 100 brands to Canada in her career, will be responsible for the development and rollout of the new concept.
The new beauty concept store will be smaller than a traditional Shoppers Drug Mart, encompassing about 5,000 square feet of selling space.
In addition to the new concept, the company also plans to continue with the rollout of up to 40 additional Beauty Boutiques in select drug store locations in 2008.
