Margaret Holmes Peanut Patch debuts BBQ flavor
EFFINGHAM, S.C. — A line of canned boiled peanuts has added a new product to its lineup.
Margaret Holmes Peanut Patch said its barbecue-flavored boiled peanuts are available in a 27-oz. can and join the brand’s lineup of original and cajun flavors.
"We are excited to unveil our new BBQ flavored boiled peanuts," said Woody Swink, director of regional sales for Peanut Patch. "Our special marinade of a secret recipe barbeque sauce gives these peanuts a rich and robust flavor. We think everyone will enjoy them while tailgating, grilling out, or simply as an afternoon snack."
Genius by Glutino enters U.S., Canada markets
LAWRENCE, Mass. — Glutino has teamed up with U.K.-based brand Genius Gluten-Free to bring a popular gluten-free bread to the United States and Canada.
Genius by Glutino provides a wholesome gluten-free bread option to those that are on a gluten-free diet and. The bread is available in white and multigrain sandwich bread varieties and does not contain artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Both varieties of Genius by Glutino will be available in freezer aisles nationwide at a suggested retail price of $5.49.
Jarritos launches ‘We’re Not From Here’ campaign
NEW YORK — A Mexican soft drink is looking to reach new consumers.
Jarritos, a brand that has been around since 1950 and has been in the U.S. market for about 20 years, recently kicked off its new “We’re Not From Here” campaign. As part of its marketing efforts, the brand now touts a new website that features mural art and interactive elements (i.e., bottles that "clink"). The new campaign was developed by Austin, Texas-based agency GSD&M.
“Jarritos is a very nostalgic and energetic brand and because of this, we chose to explore unexpected marketing efforts to create a more engaging experience,” GSD&M president and CEO Duff Stewart said.
Jarritos are made with 100% natural sugar and come in a variety of flavors, and can be purchased at various major and independent grocery stores.
