Land O’ Frost launches sub sandwich kit
LANSING, Ill. Land O’Frost announced the launch of its first Sub Sandwich Kit, featuring consumer favorites smoked ham and oven roasted turkey in the same package.
“The Land O’Frost Sub Sandwich Kit caters to busy moms who want convenience, value and consistent quality in everything they purchase for their families,” said Land O’Frost President David Van Eekeren. “All Sub Sandwich Kits are prepared with finest cuts of ham and turkey, which are slow-roasted to a tender perfection to deliver our signature great tasting lunchmeats.”
The Land O’Frost Sub Sandwich Kit differs from similar products on the market thanks to its special packaging design. Inside each Sub Sandwich Kit, the ham and turkey are packaged separately, ensuring the lunchmeat flavors don’t overlap and promising maximum freshness after each use.
The kit caters to the taste buds of individual consumers. If kids crave simply a ham sandwich or want turkey, this kit accommodates those options. And, making a loaded sub is just as simple.
Land O’Frost continues to be one of the most consistently growing brands in the packaged luncheon meat category in the United States, marketing its products in traditional supermarkets and through mass merchandising, and club store channels. Land O’Frost branded products can be found in the supermarkets and mass merchandisers that account for nearly 90% of the retail sales in the country, as well as Mexico, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
Sub Sandwich Kits are available wherever Land O’Frost products are sold.

Heineken USA rolls up sleeves for safe haven for abused youths
LAS VEGAS To kick off its annual western region sales meeting, Heineken USA decided to take initiative and give back to the community.
Close to 100 Heineken USA employees spent March 25 enhancing the living quarters at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, a non-profit resort in Boulder City that rescues abused, abandoned and neglected children of all races and faiths from the vicious cycle of child abuse.
“The decision to participate in a ‘day of giving’ is a reflection of what Heineken USA stands for as a company,” said Allan O’Neill, VP western region, Heineken USA. “While our meeting was to review plans to meet this year’s business goals, we wanted to ensure that we took the opportunity to continue our commitment to the communities in which we live and work in, particularly with a gathering of this size.”
The projects tackled by the Heineken USA team helped enhance the ranch’s physical appearance and provide a safe, secure and clean environment for the residents.
In addition to the organization’s physical labor, Heineken USA also made a financial contribution to support St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s ongoing efforts to provide children with a safe haven and a second chance.
The Ranch’s 40-acre campus is currently licensed to care for 67 children ages 5-21, and provides therapeutic residential care, transitional living, and teen parenting programs.
“The children that come to the ranch are in dire need of nurturing to rebuild their lives,” said Christine J. Spadafor, CEO of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. “We are thrilled to receive the support of Heineken USA. Their support – both financial and volunteer efforts today – helps lift the spirits of our residents and ensures the environment feels like home.”
