Hain Celestial launching new hand sanitizer
NEW YORK Hain Celestial will launch in February the new Jason Family hand sanitizer to help keep children and parents germ-free and prevent infections.
The sanitizer features a safer-for-children, naturally effective formula that has 8% organic aloe vera, the company stated. It is hypoallergenic and incorporates natural alcohol to break down germ cell walls, kill dangerous microbes instantly and evaporates in seconds. In addition, the sanitizer is made without parabens and fragrances.
The Jason brand recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and offers more than 250 products, including items for face, body and hair.
L’Oreal Paris to receive Friend of The Walk of Fame award
NEW YORK As L’Oreal Paris celebrates its 100th anniversary, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will present the beauty company with its Friend of The Walk of Fame award for its efforts to beautify and preserve the iconic Walk of Fame.
The ceremony will take place on Oct. 20 near the entrance to the Kodak Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, adjacent to the Walk of Fame. Top L’Oreal Paris executives and some of the company’s spokespeople are scheduled to attend the unveiling.
As a Friend of the Walk of Fame, L’Oreal Paris will help fund the Walk’s renovation and restoration. The Walk of Fame will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2010.
To further celebrate the company?s Hollywood preservation efforts and its 100th anniversary, it will offer free lip touch-ups by L’Oreal Paris makeup artists to passers-by in the heart of Hollywood on Oct. 21 and 22, and $1 gold coupons valid toward the purchase of any L’Oreal Paris product.
L’Oreal Paris brings the Color Space to North Carolina
NEW YORK L’Oreal Paris is bringing its Color Space beauty pavilion to the North Carolina Fair in Raleigh, N.C., from Oct. 15 to 25.
The 5,000-sq.-ft. interactive pavilion brings beauty to life for women, men and children. Offering insider tips and tricks on the latest in beauty, visitors to The Color Space are invited to enjoy complimentary services and product samples from L’Oreal Paris’ trained professionals. Skin care analysis and consultations, mini-makeovers featuring the brand’s best-selling cosmetic lines, hair care and hair color consultations from L’Oreal Paris stylists and more will be available to visitors.
The pavilion will also feature a manicure bar, skin care lab with computer terminals for access to the L’Oreal Paris Web site and a mobile Truelight Pod, exclusive to L’Oreal Paris, which recreates specific lighting environments so visitors can see how different light affects the looks of makeup and hair tones.
In celebration of L’Oreal Paris’ 100-year anniversary, visitors to The Color Space can enjoy limited-time special pricing on select products and a $2 gift certificate that can be used toward the purchase of any products sold at The Color Space or local retailers.
