Graine de Vie develops new (seed) body oils
NEW YORK — Graine de Vie is expanding its (seed) product portfolio with the February launch of its new (seed) body oils.
The new body oils feature grape seed oil, apricot oil, sunflower oil, olive oil and coconut oil, which are combined with essential oil aromatherapy. The product is housed in a spray pump for easy use.
The body oils launch Feb. 27 and are available in relaxing and therapeutic healing blends. They are priced between $10 and $12 for a 4-oz. bottle with spray applicator.
Graine de Vie launched its first 100% natural personal care brand (seed) in November 2009.
Rimmel London adds Lasting Finish lipsticks by Kate Moss to portfolio
NEW YORK — To celebrate its partnership with spokeswoman Kate Moss, Rimmel London announced that the supermodel has created five Lasting Finish lipsticks for the brand.
Lasting Finish lipsticks by Kate Moss deliver full-bodied, all-day color with an added Black Diamond Pigment Complex for even more radiant color, the company said. Each lipstick is housed in a matte black bullet, reflective of Kate Moss’s signature rocker style, and bears the supermodel’s signature in bold red. The following shades will be available for $5.49 each at mass and drug stores in the United States:
01 – a deep brick red;
04 – a royal purple;
08 – a dusty rose;
12 – a candy coral; and
14 – a blushed nude.
"My inspiration for this range was really to create a range of easy to wear, chic, modern shades that I have always worn and loved," Moss said. "From bright reds to soft pinks and nudes, there is a shade for everyone and any occasion. It was also really important for me that they were comfortable to wear. Whatever your outfit there is sure to be a shade to match."
Supermodel Beverly Johnson brings hair care to masses
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — Supermodel Beverly Johnson’s multicultural hair care line and line of synthetic hair pieces are making their way to select Target stores nationwide this month.
Model Logic by Beverly Johnson features seven hair care products that are designed for men and women of all ages with various types of hair. The lineup includes the following items:
Top Model: a super luxurious moisturizing shampoo;
Hairline Magic Crème: softens and prevents breakage of the hairline;
Go Curly: promotes hair’s natural curls;
Dead Straight: an incredible shine and styling treatment;
Work It: the ultimate softening conditioning treatment;
Photo Finish Mist: a fine mist that gives hair shine; and
Strike a Pose: a styling cream that’s enriched with shea butter and provides control and hold.
In addition to Model Logic, Johnson also will launch the Beverly Johnson drawstring ponytails, which features Futura synthetic hair fiber and comes in a range of colors — from golden blonde to off-black — as well as varying textures — from silky straight to a loose straw curl. The Drawstring Ponytail responds to styling tools and easily can be curled with a curling iron and take the heat of a flat iron, the company said.

The Model Logic by Beverly Johnson line carries a suggested retail price range of $12.50 to $25, while the ponytails touts a suggested retail price range of $19.95 to $25.
