Goddess Garden Organics launches chemical-free continuous spray sunscreen
BOULDER, Colo. — Goddess Garden Organics — the makers of organic sunscreens for adults, kids and babies — has debuted a Continuous Spray Natural Sunscreen, which, according to the company, is the only all-natural, chemical-free continuous spray sunscreen on the market today.
"While natural sunscreens are always a smart choice, it has become even more important to avoid sunscreen chemicals in light of new research showing that oxybenzone, a chemical used in many conventional sunscreens, is associated with an increased risk of hormone disruption and closely tied to endometriosis," stated Nova Covington, founder and CEO of Goddess Garden Organics. "Our mission is to educate consumers of the benefits of natural mineral sunscreens and the risks associated with chemical sunscreens. There are great options that are safe and effective too. Just as moms became aware of the dangers of BPA a few years ago, my hope is parents will become more aware of the dangers of hormone disrupting chemical sunscreens too."
The Goddess Garden Organics Continuous Spray Sunscreens join the Goddess Garden line of all-natural, chemical-free sunscreen lotions made with certified organic ingredients. All Goddess Garden products are nontoxic and biodegradable.

Banana Boat develops new multibenefit sunscreen lotions
SHELTON, Conn. — Energizer Personal Care, the makers of Banana Boat brand sunscreen, has announced the availability of two new products: Banana Boat Protect & Hydrate and Banana Boat Sport Performance CoolZone sunscreen lotions.
Both Banana Boat Protect & Hydrate and Banana Boat Sport Performance CoolZone sunscreen lotions have undergone testing in seven conditions — sun, pool water, ocean water, wind, sweat, sand and extreme heat up to 100 degrees — to provide safe and effective sun protection.
Banana Boat Protect & Hydrate sunscreen lotion is designed to go beyond sun protection to keep skin 100% hydrated for moisture that lasts all day. The new formula is fragrance-free. Recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation, this broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen protects against sunburn, damaging UV rays and the visible effects of skin aging in a sheer-feel lotion that is proven to be effective. The 2-in-1 combination of sunscreen and moisturizer protects and hydrates skin in one step, and the lightweight formula with aloe vera and antioxidant vitamins C and E leaves the skin feeling soft and looking healthy.
Banana Boat Sport Performance CoolZone sunscreen lotion is designed to instantly cool and refresh skin on contact. Recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation, this lotion provides broad-spectrum SPF 30 and 50, water-resistant (80 minutes) protection. Also available in a continuous spray, this formula has a fresh scent and helps users keep cool in the heat.
