SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Food and Drug Administration has approved two topical generics from Teligent, the company announced Friday. Teligent received approval for its triamcinolone acetonide lotion, 0.1% and its triamcinolone acetonide lotion, 0.025%.
“We are excited to add these two new products to our growing portfolio of topical prescription medicines,” Teligent president and CEO Jason Grenfell-Gardner said. “We have now received six approvals from the FDA this year, including an earlier approval of a partnered submission. Our team is committed to bringing these products to market this quarter.”
The two products had a market size of about $6.8 million based on IMS Health data from May.
Target has picked Bethesda, Md., for another of the company’s small-format stores. According to WTOP, the 35,000-square-foot Target will open in the Shops of Wisconsin development in March with a “tailored product mix,” including groceries, clothing, home goods and a pharmacy. (WTOP)
