Cosmoprof North America announces indie brands for ‘Spotlights’
NEW YORK — Cosmoprof North America is bringing back its exclusive initiative Spotlights, which debuts within the Discover Beauty program, for the fourth consecutive year to highlight artisanal brands with unique products.
Centrally located within the Discover Beauty area of the show, Spotlights is a curated initiative welcoming the best of niche prestige beauty brands. A popular destination for attendees and buyers, the highly stylized area gives the feeling of walking through a high-end department store where the open layout gives way to the individual brands displayed on select countertops.
The 2015 Spotlights lineup features 20 brands handpicked by the CPNA team. Some of the brands confirmed to date include:
12 Benefits is a niche brand and fast becoming an industry leader in high-tech hair care. The formulas set them apart, as does their signature pink-and-white packaging. Each 12 Benefits hair preparation offers a dozen benefits, from sealing hair color to healing damaged follicles to boosting shine.
Inspired by Buenos Aires, AYRES Beauty evokes the South American city’s blend of cultures. Featuring three scents: Midnight Tango, Pampas Sunrise and Patagonia. Available in: body lotion, shower cream, body butter, body polish and bar soap.
Cheryl Lee MD Sensitive Skin Care
Introducing patent-pending TrueLipids Skin Barrier Optimization Technology. New hygiene product geared toward men, baby boys
ATLANTA — Woody Wipes has created personal hygiene wipes specifically for men and baby boys, in an attempt to address and tighten the gender gap evidenced by relatively barren shelves in male hygiene sections of retail stores across America compared with that of women.
Woody Wipes' aim is to go above and beyond the performance of your average wipes in order to meet the demands of a man, as well as a baby. The flushable wipes are strong enough to knock out stench but ultra-mild so they clean without drying the skin, according to the company.
Woody Wipes is currently not available in stores, but the owner of the brand is ready to license Woody Wipes to interested parties that are willing to take the brand to the next level.
