Conair, Kao Brands to launch John Frieda styling tools
STAMFORD, Conn. Conair has teamed up with Kao Brands to create a line of hair tools and appliances under the John Frieda brand name.
The John Frieda hair styling tools collection will launch in first quarter 2011 in food, drug and mass channels. The collection will include a series of hair dryers, straighteners and styling tools. The license will allow Conair to manufacturer nonelectric styling tools.

The companies will be disclosing additional details on the line closer to the launch date.
Coty earns kudos for fragrance achievements
NEW YORK At The Fragrance Foundation’s 38th Annual FiFi Awards held in New York on June 10, Coty took home four awards.
The winning fragrances included:
- Fragrance of the Year — women’s luxe: Lola by Marc Jacobs, Coty Prestige
- Fragrance of the Year — women’s popular appeal: Halle by Halle Berry, Coty Beauty
- Fragrance Hall of Fame — CK One, Coty Prestige

Reach by Design to debut this summer

Reach by Design, a unique collaboration curated by interior designers Tom Delavan, Celerie Kemble and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, shows that toothbrushes can be both functional and beautiful.
The limited-edition collection launches nationwide this August.
