Case-Mate debuts spring 2012 collection at CES

LAS VEGAS — Case-Mate has brought its latest collection of mobile and tablet accessories for spring to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The new lineup includes such items as the Phantom, a triple-layered, two-piece iPhone 4/4S case, Brazil collection of animal print cases, a chic leather case from the Kayla collection and the Snap cover, which features a rapid-deploy, built-in kickstand.

The entire 2012 spring collection of mobile and tablet accessories range from $30 to $160.

“As smartphones become a commodity, cases become an important means of expressing and differentiating yourself from the pack,” Case-Mate CEO Shashi Reddy said. “From the gym, to the office, to a night out and every occasion in between, this season’s collection offers men and women fashionable and functional options to complement their look.”

Vitasoy-USA appoints VP sales and marketing

AYER, Mass. — Vitasoy-USA announced that it has promoted one of its marketing executives.

Susan Rolnick now will serve as VP sales and marketing, the tofu and Asian pasta maker said. Prior to joining the company in 2009, Rolnick served as director of marketing for ConAgra’s Lightlife division.

"Susan Rolnick is a dynamic sales and marketing leader who has demonstrated success across many facets of our business, including sales, marketing, customer engagement and channel management in both the U.S. and Canada," Vitasoy-USA president and CEO Walter Riglian said. "Rolnick launched products that have become game changers for our industry. She clearly is at the forefront of the creative leadership in our field. In the year ahead, Vitasoy will launch major new products in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. We are fortunate to have her as an integral part of our strategic management team."

Catalina Marketing appoints new EVP, chief information officer

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A former Dell executive has stepped into a new role at a consumer-driven marketing leader.

Catalina Marketing said John Miles will serve as EVP and chief information officer and will be responsible for leading IT strategy, research and development and new product development. Prior to joining the company, Miles served as CIO for Dell’s global commercial and consumer businesses.

Miles replaces Eric Williams, a 19-year company veteran.

“John is an exceptional leader and innovator who joins Catalina at an exciting time in our company’s evolution and growth,” Catalina CEO Jamie Egasti. “His experience in driving technology-enabled breakthroughs will help Catalina stay at the forefront of consumer loyalty innovation.”
