Aunt Nellie’s introduces baby whole pickled beets

MARION, N.Y. — Seneca Foods has bolstered its Aunt Nellie’s brand by launching a new pickled beets item.

Seneca Foods VP Bruce Wolcott said Aunt Nellie’s new baby whole pickled beets "merges the continued popularity of beets with the small bites trend."

Aunt Nellie’s baby whole pickled beets now are available at stores nationwide.

Post Holdings CEO rings NYSE opening bell

NEW YORK — Executives and guests of Post Holdings visited the New York Stock Exchange to celebrate the spinoff from parent company Ralcorp Holdings on Tuesday.

As part of the celebration, Post Holdings CEO William Stiritz rang the opening bell.

As reported, the cereal maker now is a publicly-traded standalone company. It will trade under the ticket symbol "POST."

Pacific Natural Foods adds organic bisques to lineup

TUALATIN, Ore. — Pacific Natural Foods’ ready-to-eat soups line has expanded to include four organic bisques.

Pacific said its portfolio now features organic hearty tomato bisque, organic roasted red pepper and tomato bisque, organic cashew carrot ginger bisque and organic butternut squash bisque. The company said each gluten- and soy-free bisque features chunks of vegetables. The cashew carrot ginger bisque also is dairy free.

The new line carries a suggested retail price range of $3.29 to $3.49 for 17.6-oz. container.
