AquaHydrate shows off new look

LOS ANGELES — AquaHydrate has unveiled a new look as part of the company’s rebranding campaign.

AquaHydrate now touts a new logo, a 500-mL bottle and a new 700-mL sport-top bottle to complement its existing 1-L container. The company said the makeover is in an effort to expand its marketing focus "from elite athletes to a broader swath of active, health-conscious consumers."

In line with the new look, has launched a redesigned website better geared toward active consumers, incorporating educational tools, live event streams, fully integrated social media and a retail store finder with robust e-commerce capabilities. For additional information, visit AquaHydrate.com.

SunTech Medical introduces new reusable, one-piece blood-pressure cuffs for clinical settings

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — SunTech Medical on Monday announced the launch of a new line of reusable cuffs for blood-pressure monitoring in a clinical setting.

The one-piece durable cuff has a nylon shell that is easily cleaned and disinfected to help minimize cross contamination. A tapered tail design allows easy application and eliminates sharp corners, improving patient comfort.

The cuffs are color coded for quick size identification and available with a variety of connector configurations. SunTech Medical also offers a cuff standardization program to standardize facilities to a single connector type.

Dollar General plays up toy deals

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General is promising big savings on toys — right up until Christmas Eve. From Sept. 29 through Dec. 24, the retailer is offering a 10% discount on toy purchases of $75 or more.

“Dollar General is committed to helping customers stretch their holiday budgets, and one way we are doing this is with the holiday toy discount,” said Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s EVP, division president and chief merchandising officer. “Toys are at the top of many shopping lists, so we’re happy to help shoppers save more on these purchases and delight children with our great products.”

According to Dollar General, its stores will be stocked with hot toys from Mattel, Disney and Hasbro along with a wide selection of $5 and $10 toys.
