Ahh Bra makes debut in Walgreens
NEW YORK — The Rhonda Shear’s Ahh Bra has been launched into Walgreens in a single pack for $19.99, featuring the essential black and nude color scheme in sizes medium through extra large, Shear Enterprises announced recently.
The Ahh Bra utilizes seamless technology and the latest fabrications to mold to fit without the prodding, poking and bulge of an underwire. Comfortable enough to wear day or night, no woman should be without one or several in her lingerie drawer, the company said.
Shear may be best known for her role as a host of the USA Network’s 1980s/’90s weekend comedy show, "USA Up All Night." From 1991 to 1998 she hosted in-studio and on-location segments, replacing comedian Caroline Schlitt. Shear also has been featured in Playboy.
MinuteClinic, Indiana University Health form clinical affiliation
WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark’s MinuteClinic continues to expand its list of strategic alliances, with its latest partner being Indiana University Health (IU Health), the largest health system in Indiana.
Over the past couple of years, MinuteClinic has formed affiliations with a number of health systems. Since the end of the first quarter alone, MinuteClinic has formed affiliations with Advocate Health Care and Advocate Physician Partners, the Inova Health System, Ohio Health, Cleveland Clinic Florida and the Henry Ford Health System. These affiliations encompass collaborations with health system medical directors, clinical program development and eventual integration of electronic medical records.
Under this newest agreement announced on Thursday, IU Health physicians will serve as medical directors for 19 MinuteClinic locations, including 17 in the Indianapolis area, one in Bloomington and one in West Lafayette. Signage at participating MinuteClinic locations will inform patients that each site has a clinical affiliation with IU Health. In addition, MinuteClinic and IU Health will collaborate on patient education and disease management initiatives and will inform patients of the services each offers. IU Health will accept patients who need a level of care that is not provided at MinuteClinic.
"As we continue to expand the number of clinics and services we offer in the Hoosier state, MinuteClinic shares a common goal with IU Health to make basic medical care more accessible to patients in locations near where they live and work," said Andrew Sussman, president of MinuteClinic and SVP/associate chief medical officer at CVS Caremark. "We are excited to be collaborating with IU Health, as we mark our 11th clinical affiliation with a regional health system in the United States."
MinuteClinic and IU Health will begin to work toward fully integrating their electronic medical record systems to streamline communication around all aspects of each individual’s care. With patient permission, MinuteClinic will share medical histories and visit summaries with other IU Health locations in Indiana. In the meantime, MinuteClinic will continue its standard practice of sending patient visit summaries to primary care providers via fax or mail, typically within 24 hours.

"Through our collaboration with MinuteClinic, we will complement the role of primary care physicians by offering another convenient access point to high quality, affordable medical care during off-hours and weekends."
IU Health includes ownership or affiliation with more than 20 hospitals and health centers throughout Indiana, and has been named among the "Best Hospitals in America" by U.S. News & World Report for 14 consecutive years.
Abbott organizes PediaSure Mom Brigade to battle pint-sized picky eaters
ABBOTT PARK, Ill. — More than two-thirds of moms who participated in a recent Abbott Nutrition survey revealed they have a picky eater, and 9-out-of-10 of these moms indicated they are unsuccessful at getting their picky eater to eat healthy and nutritious foods every day. To aid moms in their pursuit of healthy eating habits and restore order to the dinner table, Abbott launched the PediaSure Mom Brigade, a team of real mom experts with experience in children’s health and nutrition, Abbott announced Thursday.
According to the survey, this mealtime "battle" can have a significant emotional toll on moms, with more than 2-out-of-3 respondents saying that they feel like the "bad guy" when it comes to trying to influence their child’s picky eating. Three-in-4 have used persuasive tactics, such as disguising nutritious foods and ingredients (43%), giving rewards for eating healthy (38%) and bargaining (32%).
"If moms are struggling with a daily picky eater, their child may not be getting essential nutrients for growth and development," Abbott Nutrition research scientist Tama Bloch said. "The scientists at Abbott, like me, are constantly working to identify new ways to address nutritional challenges so that a child’s nutrition is a little less worrisome to mom."
The PediaSure Mom Brigade is designed to connect with moms, provide tips and expert advice to help them ensure that, even with picky eaters, they are feeding their children’s potential throughout the year. Members of the Mom Brigade include:

The survey was conducted by Wakefield Research, on behalf of Abbott Nutrition, among 1,001 mothers in the U.S. with children ages 2 to 10 years, between April 14 and April 20 using an email invitation and an online survey.
